Having won the 2015 European Green Capital award, Bristol was also voted Britain’s best City in which to live, for the years 2014 and 2017. The City of Bristol is also home to plenty of high-class sporting venues, Bristol City and Bristol Rovers are the two main professional football teams and Bristol Bears are the rugby union squad, the Gloucestershire County Cricket Club can also be found here. Maybe, you are more interested in the arts than sport, well Bristol can also offer you plenty of places to watch a fabulous show or be entertained by a cast of professional actors at the Old Vic theatre. There are many Banksy artworks located around the city for you to find and admire. If you prefer history however, then there is the M Shed, built on the site of the old Industrial Museum.
