Managing Swarf and Coolant
Tapping fluid: a small amount of this is normally required to be dispensed by the operator during tapping. A drip tray or a rubber mat on the floor should be positioned under where the work is being carried out and a rag handy for cleaning up. As mentioned previously, the amount of swarf falling from the tap is minimal, however it is extremely sharp so must be cleared regularly rather than allowed to build up.
Sharing Space With Other Equipment
